2010 has started at a hectic pace for RCS. We are completing projects that weren’t across the line before the 2009 Xmas break and new developments are getting underway with an increased confidence in the outlook for the industry.
Our major client Woolworths has a number of contracts for RCS this year and our newest client the Lancini Group of Companies will shortly be breaking ground on a major shopping centre development in the Beenleigh region. Our Director Robert Peterson will be personally involved in the project management for this development that will bring a much needed retail location to the resident of that area.
We have a warehouse development to build under a construction management contract in the Townsville area that is evidence of the resilience of this region and the confidence shown by developers.

2009 not going to set any records
21/02/2009
The outlook for business activity in 2009 is not shaping up to set any records but RCS will be kept busy with smaller construction management projects that some of our clients are keen to get underway now that trades are available and prices competitive.
We are still experiencing a steady flow of enquiries for our services that should keep our operations viable for this calendar year.
Industry slowdown affects operations
19/10/2008
The current economic climate has affected many of us in the industry and RCS is no exception
Our operations have scaled down over the past months and the outlook for the new year is somewhat mixed going on current information to hand.
The recent announced help to home buyers will hopefully stimulate the residential sector somewhat but the commercial sector is showing definite signs of slowdown with many developers waiting to see what the new year brings before proceeding with projects that are currently on hold and have been for quite some time in some cases.
The outlook for RCS in the new year is solid for the first two quarters due to our diverse range of services and a strong client base, but expenditure on capital aquisitions and non essential items or upgrades that we would normally undergo in the first quarter has been deferred.
